I was inspired to create a project called through the keyhole, the idea being you never know what delightful sight will great you. Use your imagination and be as creative as you like.
Through the Keyhole
Firstly make the template for the keyhole.
Draw a pencil outline for the keyhole and paint an effect around the edges. You can use any colour or pattern, watercolour or acrylic paint, you could even cut out of a coloured piece of paper or card.
When this is dry using a sharp craft knife cut out the keyhole
If any white paper is showing use a colour to edge
Next with the middle shape draw a rough outline on a piece of paper so you know the size the image needs to be.
Draw in the design with pencil as a rough guide to follow.
Build up the areas with coloured pencils adding detail as you go.
Once the final picture is finished frame with the keyhole.
Now you have the template this can be used again to create a different view.
