It started with a vision board.
I was asked to think about the things I enjoy, new hobbies I would like to learn about, what I would like in the future.
Cut out pictures or words from magazines and make them into a visual poster to look at to remind me what my future self would like to do, what would I see, how would I be living.
My thought behind the selected pictures to summarise my ideas.

something was missing.
The main message of hope I gained from the session.
"I am a butterfly changing my life it's not over"
Now is the time to start making changes not when I am retired.
A time to reflect on the vision I had 3 years ago and how far I have come.

Volunteered at recovery college as a peer support
As a team delivered online wellbeing workshops during lockdown
Joined as a learner with Recovery Coach Academy
Completed and qualified as the first Creative Recovery Coach in the UK

Step 3: Take up new hobbies, meet people and learn about creativity

Found best friend and partner for all things creative.
Spend more time in nature and travelling with loved ones.
Capturing photographs and writing blogs on the moments in life.
Courses about art therapy, mental health first aid
Set up facebook community to share creativity and wellness
Attended mindfulness course
Followed my passion to learn but spirituality and being in the moment
